Job type: Seasonal/Temp
Salary and Benefits: $425week; Room and board
Program Length/ Dates: Summer 2017, 2-3 weeks (One-week of on-site training; see program dates below)
About Blueprint Summer Programs
Our company offers personal, innovative, and fun pre-college summer programs for students entering grades 9 - 12 students. Here's what they get to do:
Experience college life and immerse themselves in inspiring and meaningful courses
Live in residence halls on-campus with other students from around the country
Get Ready For College - with our proprietary college prep curriculum
Road trips! Travel to big cities, famous landmarks and popular attractions
With a compassionate and empathic nature, you will monitor the general health of summer program students and staff while also monitoring and participating in student activities at designated location (see specific program locations below).
Provide first aid and oversight: care of illnesses and accidents as directed by physician, take responsibility for calling the physician when advisable, accompany campers and staff on field trips and to physician's office and/or hospital as necessary
Dispense daily medication to students
Maintain and manage inventory supplies efficiently.
Establish and maintain regular Health Office hours
Collect, review, and maintain incoming program participants' treatment and health
Complete and keep on file necessary reports (such as daily treatment log, health department reports and other required reports); submits log and other information to the Program Director at the completion of the program
Develop and assist during extracurricular programming and special events, using supplied materials effectively and creatively
Effectively serve in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Serve as a caring, compassionate mentor and adult presence to all students at all times, including (but not limited to): Planned activities, off-campus activities, student mealtimes, student free time and room checks
Engage all students in a way that inspires comfortable adjustment to life on a college campus and away from friends and family
Provide general office administrative support and perform a variety of other administrative tasks, including (but not limited to): general office work, supply purchasing, monitor student issues, create hallway and floor decor, contribute to program set-up/breakdown
Implement all program rules, procedures and safety guidelines
College degree, currently enrolled in college program or have received some college credit
Minimum 1 year experience working or interning in a medical facility or office
Must be able to travel to and from designated Blueprint Summer Program location
Must be 21 years of age or older

Summer program experience is a plus
