Program Length/ Dates: Summer 2017, 3-5 weeks (Includes one week of on-site training)

Job Purpose:

Collaborate with Blueprint HQ Marketing Team to commemorate events, activities, and program aspects through social media while also monitoring and participating in student activities.


Essential Duties:

  • Effectively capture memorable moments during all activities, field trips and classes to be shared on Blueprint approved social media platforms. Content will also be shared with families, students and the Blueprint HQ Marketing Team.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images or video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented  with good multitasking and organisational ability
  • Routinely update the program Facebook page and Instagram account
  • Organize and backup all media, ensuring all media is given to Blueprint’s marketing department at the completion of the program.
  • Closely track and follow the program schedule; manage time to edit and upload photos daily
  • Develop and assist during extracurricular programming and special events, using supplied materials effectively and creatively
  • Effectively serve in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Serve as a caring, compassionate mentor and adult presence to all students at all times, including (but not limited to): Planned activities, off-campus activities, student mealtimes, student free time and room checks
  • Engage all students in a way that inspires comfortable adjustment to life on a college campus and away from friends and family
  • Provide general office administrative support and perform a variety of other administrative tasks, including (but not limited to): general office work, supply purchasing, monitor student issues, create hallway and floor decor, contribute to program set-up/breakdown
  • Implement all program rules, procedures and safety guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

  • College degree, currently enrolled in college program or have received some college credit
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with digital photography
  • Must be able to travel to and from designated Blueprint Summer Program location.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Summer program experience is a plus
  • Current CPR/ First Aid certification is a plus
